A national conference reported the results of the LearnGen project

With a national conference in Ruse, in which leading companies, state and regional institutions participated, the results of the two-year project “Mentoring between generations in the workplace – LearnGen” were reported. The project was implemented by 7 partners from 6 European countries with the leading partner the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The team of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber presented the results of the project and resources for intergenerational mentoring at workplace. Emphasis was placed on the functionalities of the multilingual platform.

In the subsequent discussion, the results of the project were considered in the context of business financing programs in the new programming period, human resources in companies and the application of the concept of mentoring and reverse mentoring. Experts of the Regional Employment Service Directorate presented the programs, projects and measures for employment in 2022, as well as the indicative annual work program of the Program “Human Resources Development 2021-2027”. They pointed out that they will disseminate the results of the LearnGen project to the experts in the Employment Agency, so that the models created will serve to support the beneficiaries of the EU program.

Representatives of the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry shared their experience in encouraging young people to actively participate in entrepreneurship, sustainable organizational and regional development, environmental protection and the green economy.

The national conference was the final event of the LearnGen project, funded under Erasmus+ program. The results of the project will be used in the future activity of the licensed Vocational Training Center of BRCCI, which supports companies by providing them with opportunities to increase the qualifications of employees.

The Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber is working on 13 more projects with European and national funding to support companies, local and cross-border development.
